Norval Pit-STOP Community Organization represents local residents in Brampton & Halton Hills who are concerned about the proposed Norval Shale Quarry.

Norval Pit-STOP is committed to providing accurate information regarding the impact of the shale quarry on humans & the natural ecology. Norval Pit-STOP takes action by encouraging all levels of government to adopt sound land-use policies that will protect the natural environment, ground & surface waters, the local heritage, and the concerns of local residents such as traffic, dust, noise, well water, and property values.
